Terms & Conditions
PAYMENTS:
Driving lesson tuition payment to be made at least 24 hours before driving lesson start time via bank transfer to ensure the driving lesson goes ahead. Block booking payments are due 24 hours before the first lesson. Any pre-paid block booking will have to be used within 6 months unless otherwise agreed and a reasonable completion date will be agreed.
LESSON CANCELLATION ISSUED BY CLIENT:
· If less than 48 hours’ notice is given when cancelling a lesson the client will be charged for the cancelled lesson.
· If you decide to cancel your driving lessons mid-way through your block booking period, any driving lessons taken will be charged at the standard hourly rate. Any outstanding monies will be refunded via bank transfer.
Excessive cancellations and prolonged periods between each lesson will result in Sarah’s Driving Academy withdrawing their services as the driving instruction provider.
LESSON OR TEST CANCELLATION ISSUED BY INSTRUCTOR:
Sarah’s Driving Academy reserves the right to refuse the use of their car for driving tests or driving lessons if:
- The client appears unfit to drive; being significantly unwell or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, this may include medically prescribed drugs.
- The client’s driving ability is deemed below the standard required for a driving test. If the client is not likely to reach the required threshold in the time available, they will be notified before the cancellation date ensuring sufficient time to cancel or change their test date.
DRIVING ENDORSMENTS:
Clients must inform the driving instructor immediately of any driving endorsements.
PASS PHOTOS:
The client gives permission for a pass photo to be uploaded to social media unless otherwise agreed.
